Class Rules Advice on preparing for a Kundalini Yoga Class - You must pre-book your classes beforehand (we recommend a minimum of at least 72 hours in advance to ensure your place).
- For bookings contact Jason Budd by emailing him on jason@kydorset.co.uk, or pre-booking at your previous class; or by telephoning Jason on 01202 710 543
- If you need to cancel please ensure you give us at least 24 hours in advance of the day of your class or a class will be automatically deducted from your card.
- Drink plenty of water before and during a Class, filtered water is provided free of charge at the Class.
- If possible; arrive fifteen minutes before a Class is due to start, there is a short relaxation period beforehand.
- If you are a new student, please arrive 5-10 minutes before the start of the relaxation period to get a chance to have a chat with your Yoga Teacher Joanne Budd and complete the necessary paperwork.
- It is recommended that you practice on an empty stomach. Ideally avoid eating for two or three hours before a class.
- To experience a heightened connection during meditation we recommend you will achieve this better if you are able to avoid eating meat or fish 48 hours before a class.
- Alcohol and non-medicinal drugs cannot be part of a Yoga practice. Please do not come to your Kundalini Yoga class Bournemouth whilst under their influence.
- Wear loose natural fibre clothing (white recommended) and bring a head covering for Meditation.
- Remove your shoes before entering the Sacred Space of the Yoga Room and please keep talking in this Room to a minimum as this respects the Sacred Space for yourself and others and creates an atmosphere conducive to Peaceful Meditation and Healing.
- Sit on a well-insulated surface of natural fibre - ideally a sheepskin rug; all yoga mats and sheepskin rugs and blankets are provided for at the Class; however; you are strongly advised to invest in and bring your own personal mats and blankets; this will also help you to create your own Sacred Practice at home when you are ready.
- It is recommended to avoid tobacco and caffeine before a Class.
- Any questions or queries you have can be addressed before the start of the Class or at the end by the Yoga Teacher Joanne Budd.
- Even if you have previously taken part in Ashtanga Yoga Poole, Iyengar Yoga Bournemouth, Hatha Yoga Poole or Integral Yoga Poole; we would like to hear from you and give you the opportunity to experience a Kundalini Yoga and Meditation class.
